Stacey & Jason in Fort Madison, IA
The diamond white, A-line, strapless Maggie Sottero gown featured an organza overlay with floral embroidery and a lace train accented with an elbow-length veil with delicate beading.
The traditional Catholic wedding was held in the bride’s family’s church.
Galvanized pails filled with pink gerbera daisies, green carnations, and greenery decorated the church pews.
Four bridesmaids walked down the aisle in coral strapless, A-line organza dresses from Raylia Bridesmaids. Three ushers, four groomsmen, and Jason wore four-button, satin-collared suits by Geoffrey Beene with silver vests and ties.
After finding a photo in a magazine, Stacey decided on a four-tiered confection iced in buttercream with white, French vanilla, and double chocolate fudge cake filled with champagne, strawberry, and chocolate hazelnut fillings. Pink and green daisies shaped from fondant icing decorated the cake.

After meeting at work (he was her boss!) and what she refers to as “three years of endless flirting,” Stacey and Jason finally decided to call each other boyfriend and girlfriend. Later, after careful months of crafty planning, Jason surprised Stacey by cooking a meal of salmon, wine, and cherry cheesecake -- with a ring on top. As soon as she uncovered the surprise, Jason got down on one knee and proposed. Stacey was so excited she forgot to answer, but Jason knew when she slipped the ring on her finger that she had accepted.
