As the site of their first encounter and Jeremy's proposal, a sandy stretch of beach was the perfect spot for Mary Beth and Jeremy to wed.

The first time Mary Beth Mason saw Jeremy Hines was on Tybee Island one afternoon during a get-together with mutual friends. "My first sight of Jeremy was from my car to his -- I could barely see his face under the Jimmy Buffet straw cowboy hat he was wearing," Mary Beth remembers. "I never thought I would fall for a guy in a cowboy hat, but it was really cute on him." It didn't take the two long to start dating, and seven months later, on the same beach where they had first met, Jeremy asked Mary Beth to marry him. "He said he had a question for me," says Mary Beth, "then he just pulled this ring out of his jacket pocket." That same day, the couple decided they wanted their ceremony to be on that beach too. "Neither of us had ever even considered a beach wedding, but I wouldn't have wanted it anywhere else after his proposal," says Laura. Less than a year later, the couple exchanged oceanfront vows beneath an arch of flowers.
