The night Megan Bentley (now a 26-year-old college administrator) met Scott Graham (a 28-year-old business owner), Scott told his best friend that he’d met the girl he was going to marry. The couple dated for five years while attending Penn State University. “We spent our time getting to know each other very well, and while falling in love we also became best friends,” Megan explains.

One Christmas while volunteering at Scott’s mother’s work, the couple had just finished having their picture taken when Santa pulled a present off of the Christmas tree and handed it to Scott! Thinking it was a birthday present for Scott, Megan was not surprised until he pulled the bow off and said perhaps she ought to open it. “At that moment I began to wonder, and within a minute Scott was down on one knee asking me to marry him!” says Megan. The couple married two and a half years later at Scott’s family’s church.
