The couple wed in the chapel room of their church, the Prairie Lakes Church in Cedar Falls. The back of the room featured a wall of windows and a balcony, letting plenty of natural light pour in. Rachel and Steven spent plenty of time pre-wedding researching different vows online, and wound up exchanging mostly traditional vows. "We added a few extra lines that were more personal," the bride says.

After meeting at a college Bible study group, Rachel and Steven planned a special night to celebrate their one-year dating anniversary.

Steven cooked dinner, then the two settled down to watch the movie Ever After. "At the end when the prince proposes, Steven had put himself on the video proposing!" Rachel remembers. "I was so surprised!" While finishing up her last semester of classes and working at a part-time job, Rachel took on another huge task -- planning their wedding! Luckily, putting it all together wasn't a problem.
Following a fairytale proposal, a modern color scheme set the tone for Rachel and Steven's stylish Cedar Falls nuptials.
