Heather & Jason in Banff, Alberta
Matching the cool blue Rocky Mountains, the invites had a slate blue border and a decorative, vintage-inspired leaf and floral motif.
The bride, clad in a silk gown with an Empire waist and a sweetheart neckline, selected blue knee-length dresses with silver sandals for her three bridesmaids. The groom and his three groomsmen sported classic black tuxedos with silver ties.
Heather‘s blue and white bouquet made of peonies and hydrangeas had a special touch attached -- a photo of her late father.
A single white calla lily with lamb‘s ear adorned Jason‘s lapel.
Due to the impending rain, the couple wed in the hotel‘s simple, elegant Strathcona Room, which featured floor-to-ceiling windows.
Guests enjoyed an intimate sit-down dinner at a long rectangular table.
The table was decorated with candles as well as blue hydrangeas and white peonies in silver urns.
Hexagonal and circular shapes were combined to create a unique cake design while a floral motif, blue "W," and blue hydrangeas gave it an elegant vibe.

Although Heather and Jason went to the same high school, they both hung out in separate circles. It wasn't until they were reintroduced in college that they finally become a couple. Despite attending different universities, Heather and Jason made their long-distance relationship a top priority.

The Date June 7

Six years later, while hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway -- a favorite pastime of the couple -- Jason dropped to one knee and proposed to Heather on a bluff overlooking the beautiful Linville Valley Gorge. They later wed in a small town in the Canadian Rockies, a place they fell in love with the previous summer.
