Nina wore a Chantilly lace Monique Lhuillier dress. She added a silk sash to her dress for the reception.
Nina’s bridesmaids wore dresses by Simple Silhouettes. The maids of honor donned beige-colored dresses with periwinkle sashes, and the other bridesmaids wore periwinkle dresses with beige-colored sashes.
Charlie gave his groomsmen checkerboard Vans sneakers, which they wore with their navy suits.
Margaritas are a staple in Nina and Charlie’s home, so naturally Charlie chose a Vineyard Vines margarita-themed tie. His groomsmen wore the same ties in blue. Each guy also sported a boutonniere made of thistle and tied with leather.
Handmade wooden signs directed Nina and Charlie’s guests from the outdoor ceremony to the tented reception.
A group of fallen Aspen trees was displayed in the middle of the dinner tent to create a nice focal point and cover up the tent’s center pole.
Nina and Charlie rented the pewter chargers and used burlap napkin rings with blue ribbon to tie together the wedding’s rustic yet romantic theme. The menu cards designed by Nina’s aunt featured a sketch of the Teton Mountains.
Each reception table was topped with garden-like arrangements of hydrangeas, delphinium orchids, scabiosa, tweedia, clematis, lace flower, garden roses, and stock. Instead of numbering the tables, Nina and Charlie named each one after their favorite ski destinations.
Nina and Charlie created the recipe for the pomegranate margaritas that were served in mason jars at the reception.
Nina and Charlie’s five-tiered, buttermilk-iced wedding cake was made of vanilla pound cake and chocolate pound cake. The confection was topped with fresh greenery and served a la mode with Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream (Nina’s favorite).

Nina and Charlie first heard about each other from their moms, who tried to set them up. The plans they made to meet up never materialized, but a year later, Charlie started working at Nina’s company. They went on their first date (a mountain biking trip) two months later.

Almost three years later, on the morning she and Charlie were leaving for a trip to Mexico, Nina woke up to their dog with a diamond ring tied around its neck.
