The bridesmaids wore custom-made V-neck or strapless dresses. Sam found Perry Ellis suits on sale and had each of his groomsmen buy one for the same price it would have cost to rent a tux. Paisley ties completed their look.

Brittany‘s stepmom made the modern programs, incorporating the same flower motif in the invitations and table numbers.

The ceremony was a family affair for Brittany, whose stepfather walked her down the first half of the aisle before passing her on to her father.

Arrangements of hydrangeas and mini mums that matched the bridesmaid bouquets decorated the backs of chairs.

The setting sun illuminated the DaVinci Lawn outside the Ritz-Carlton, leaving just enough natural light for dinner before lights were lit over the dance floor.

All of the paper elements included the couple‘s simple blue-and-pink floral motif.

The couple, not crazy about a huge wedding cake, served chocolate, red velvet and vanilla cupcakes instead. Brittany requested pink icing to go with the peonies in her bouquet.

A guitarist played, "The Luckiest," by Ben Folds, while the couple danced and guests looked on. Friends and family weren‘t seated for long though—the dance floor was packed all night!

Escort cards served double duty as tags for the individually wrapped candy apples.

If the strongest relationships are built on friendships, then Brittany and Sam were solid as a rock when they started dating. The couple met in high school and became best friends to the point where they were inseparable. Yet somehow, it took five years for that friendship to turn into something more.

After dating for more than three years, Sam popped the question with a simple, "Sweetie, would you like to marry me?" on the couple's balcony. After waiting for so long to make things official, Brittany and Sam got married after a quick, seven-month engagement. Lucky for them, Brittany knows her way around the bridal industry and was able to pull off the wedding off without a hitch!
