When mutual friends introduced Misty Nichols to Blake Chaffin their senior year at Kansas State University, Misty immediately knew there was something special between them.

After dating five years, Misty was getting a little anxious wondering what was taking Blake so long to propose. But one weekend, Blake took Misty on a surprise trip to the Smoky Mountains. The two were having a blast goofing off on go-carts and relaxing in their cabin. The vacation got even better when Blake surprised Misty with flowers, wine, and a proposal. She excitedly accepted and the couple planned a wedding in the Nashville area, where they currently live.
