How we got engaged
Jason and Nikki have been together since 2001. One weekend in October 2008, they were dog sitting for Nikki's parents. On that sunny Saturday morning, Jason surprised Nikki with a trail of red rose petals down the steps to a card and "anniversary gift." As Nikki was reading the card, Jason got down on one knee and took a little blue box out of his pocket. Inside the box was the beautiful diamond engagement ring that Nikki had been admiring in the jewelry store for months. Jason asked Nikki to make him the happiest man on Earth and be his wife. She was totally shocked and immediately said YES! And so the planning began....
