Newlyweds for 1435 days!
ABOUT KATHLEEN
Kathleen finished her BA in English at FAU. She currently teaches Freshman English full time at the high school she graduated from and has also been a voice coach, a substitute teacher, and a youth ministry worker. Now she reads books and write papers about them, and tries to espouse the merits of reading literature to every one of her youth who still try to convince her English is boring...so very wrong they are!
ABOUT CHAD
Chad's a missionary with Jews for Jesus. He's been with the ministry for more than 5 years. Chad has a heart for G-d and is currently serving in the Los Angeles area, but he will definitely make it to the church on time December 17th!
HOW WE MET
Umm..ok you got us. We met in a chatroom, though we'd both be the last to expect that we'd meet the love of our lives in one. Anyway, Chad was going to be in the area not long afterward speaking at a church, that was October 9, 2003...we've been together ever since...apparently "you're tall" was a good pick up line, since in the end, it got the girl =)

HOW IT HAPPENED
After throwing Kat off the scent by having flowers delivered to the restaurant where we were celebrating our shared birthdate (which was actually the week before), Chad read an Eliza Acton poem called "I Love Thee," then asked Kat to be his wife. She may or may not have said "yes," but definitely got out the "ess" part.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
The wedding will take place in the Sanctuary of Kat's church with a ceremony incorporating both of our faith traditions.
