ABOUT ERIN
I will be graduating from Grand Valley State University, for the second time, with my Masters in Social Work in April 2005.
I am currently working at Gilda's Club Grand Rapids as a Program Coordinator.
ABOUT BRIAN
Brian is seeking a police job in West Michigan. Brian has a degree in Criminal Justice and also completed a 20 week, military style police academy last summer. Brian is currently living in Zeeland and working for Lakeshore Glass and Metal, and Zeeland Police Department.
HOW WE MET
Brian and I met at Camp Roger in 1992, I was 10 and he was 11. After leaving camp we promised to write and did for 6 years. We lost touch in highschool and college, but coincidentally both went to GVSU. Brian and I were reunited on April 29, three days after we graduated. We have been dating ever since.

HOW IT HAPPENED
A good friend of mine from work, Beth, helped Brian plan the perfect proposal. Beth was out at Camp Roger on Friday setting up for a camp she would be working at the following day. Brian asked Beth to think of an excuse to get me out to camp. Beth asked if I could pick her up since her car was broken. I drove out there and Beth met me when I arrived. Beth said she was just about ready to go but that she left some things in the chapel if I could pick them up for her. I walked to the beautiful outdoor chapel in the woods and walked towards the bag she had "left". Brian came out from behind a tree and walked towards me. He got down on his knee and held out a beautiful ring and asked me to marry him. I said yes.
