Newlyweds for 1414 days!
ABOUT AMIE
Well, we're engaged...and I'm the last one I would have ever imagined getting married. Now that it's reality I'm extremely excited about it! Right now I'm an Elementary Education Major at BBC. As most of you know, I sing! I love art and painting murals for friends. I love babysitting and can't wait to be a mom!
ABOUT SHELDON
Sheldon's also attending BBC as a Youth Major...which means he's going to be a youth pastor! ;) He enjoys playing the drums and longs to take lessons so that he can be really good at it. He is also interested in learning about how to rebuild cars. He has an amazing heart and willingness to serve God.
HOW WE MET
We met at BBC my freshman year through a friend... Kind of odd... but yeah.. Critter gave us both a hard time from then on... Not knowing at all that we actually did like each other! Fun times! It wasn't until My sophomore year that Sheldon finally became un oblivious to me liking him! About a week later we started dating and it's escalated from there to here!

HOW IT HAPPENED
I'd been pretty much just waiting for him to ask me cause we had already discussed it and he'd asked my dad for permission. One night he wanted me to take him to the lake near my house cause he'd never seen it before so I did. We went to the outlook spot where people generally fish in a cove down by the shore... We found a cover where no one was and just sat and talked for a long while... then mosquitos started biting us and I hate mosquitos so we decided to leave... I ran up the hill before him and waited at the top... He begged me to come back down and walk up with him... I was like... " Sheldon I'm not about to walk back down this hill just so I can walk right back up it with you... LOL " I was being a brat yes I know! So we met halfway... He told me that he loved me sooo much, and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Both of us having said that before I didn't think anything of it but "aww how p;recious is he!?!! " So I walked back up one step and he pulled me back around and was on one knee and said, "will you be my wife?" Of Course I said yes and had tears in my eyes!! IT was the best thing ever!! I didn't even catch on to him even though I'd been waiting for it!

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
We would have liked for our wedding to have been a night wedding but unfortunately my church doesn't allow weddings past 3. So not wanted to steer too much from traditional we decided to just abide by the rule and have it at the church anyhow just in the afternoon instead. A few words to describe the wedding... Classy, Elegant, Simple, OUR Personalities!
