ABOUT ASHLEY
After graduating from Baylor in August 2005, Ashley moved to Austin to sell insurance for Liberty Mutual. She is currently a personal sales representative for auto, home, and life insurance.
ABOUT JAMES
James is also a 2005 Baylor graduate with a degree in Professional Selling. He currently works for Dell computers selling to small businesses.
HOW WE MET
I met James on my first day at Baylor. He sat in front of me in Health. Later in the semester, James asked me to a tailgate for his fraternity, and we started dating a couple weeks later.
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
After our Valentine's dinner, James and I went for a walk on the Waco suspension bridge. Next to the bridge is an observatory platform that was decorated with dozens of pink roses. We sat on the bench while I opened my present. It was a beautiful Perthshire paperweight. (The women in James' family collect them.) At this point, I pretty much put it all together. James took a knee and proposed.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
The wedding will be a late afternoon gathering at the church, followed by a fun reception at the Lake Jackson Civic Center.
