Newlyweds for 1078 days!
ABOUT JAMIE
I'm finishing my last semester at Mizzou and I'm getting ready to graduate in May! Next year I'm starting an internship with Campus Crusade at Mizzou. I love dancing, chocolate, planning parties, anything pink, pearls, and Pottery Barn.
ABOUT RYAN
I am also getting ready to finish my last semester at Mizzou and will graduate with a degree in Meteorology! I am extremely excited about having the opportunity to be able to also intern with Crusade at Mizzou with the love of my life. I love the outdoors, Seinfeld, and gourmet coffee.
HOW WE MET
Our lovely story begins in a place far far away called Barnwell Middle School. Ryan and I were assigned to sit by each other in language arts class and I would always borrow paper and pens from him because I was never prepared for class. Thus this began a friendship that would last through the ages (high school).
First semester of freshman year we were both at Mizzou (M-I-Z...Z-O-U). We then started to hang out with each other a lot more and over the course of a few months we started to takin' a likin' to each other. We knew God was calling us to a relationship and on November 5th, 2002 at 1AM Ryan Wagner asked me to be his girlfriend!!!!
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
Jamie was busy this fine evening with some "girl stuff", making crafts and what not and I thought that this would be a great time for me to make all this happen. Jamie left with my sister Anna and I knew that from that point I would have at least the next 3 hours or so to prepare. My friend Brian Strugill and I set up the setting. I had a banner that was about ten feet long made at Kinkos that said "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" on it. We hung it up at a near by park.
I told her that a whole bunch of friends from school were having a bon fire at the park and how much I thought that she would benefit if she were to at least come and see everyone for a bit. My sister dropped her off at the park, I walked her down to the magical area, had her close her eyes for a bit and then she saw the sign! She was flabergasted...I got down on one knee and that is where the story ends...........or just begins.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
We're thinking elegance, formality, and alot of fun. We are having a late night ceremony followed by a cocktail reception with elegant desserts and lots of dancing!
