ABOUT LINDSAY
For those of you that don't know me, I'm a short, quick-witted, organized goofball with a penchant for the outdoors and big words. I'm from Katy, Texas, am currently getting my PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and working full-time for Centex Homes.
ABOUT JOSH
Josh is a genius! He's a smart, goofy guy that loves his car, food, video games, and his dog Keyne. He is originally from Arlington, but his family moved to Florida his senior year of high school. He attended Florida State University where he obtained his mechanical engineering degree. He currently works for Corning designing fiber optic cable casings.
HOW WE MET
Our story is pretty awesome, and there aren't enough characters on this website to describe it. Basically, we met at the Olive Garden when I was no longer a server there. I was crocheting a scarf and he was reading a computer magazine and I asked him what he was reading. He told me what it was so I asked him, "So you're kind of a big nerd huh?" The rest is history...
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
Josh proposed to me on the steps of the Supreme Court. We were visiting my friend Amy in D.C. and touring all the sites. After we walked out of the Supreme Court building we sat down at the foot of one of the columns. Josh told me it was pretty amazing how many decisions were made in that building that impact our lives. I agreed and pointed out other buildings that did as much. He said, "Yeah, but I think this building is going to impact the biggest decision in our lives" as he knelt down on one knee and pulled out the ring. I said, "Are you kidding me?" and he replied, "No, Lindsay, will you be my wife?" I responded with two more "Are you kidding me?" phrases and hugged him and gave him a kiss. An elderly couple walked up and said to us, "We know what just happened! Congratulations!" Then I hugged him and kissed him again and the security guard asked us to leave. He said he knew this was an important day in our lives but he had to maintain a sense of decorum on the steps of the building. It couldn't have been more perfect for us!

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
We will be uniting our two families in Denton, Texas (which is north of Lewisville for those of you from out of the area). We are going to have 6 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen so it won't be a huge wedding, but it's not going to be small either. :)
