HOW WE MET
Like every proper English fairytale romance this one began at the pub. It was a magical pub, on a tiny island, that held potions behind the bar that gave giants, elves, hobbits, and gnomes the power of attraction. A ginger-headed gnome wooed a certain local lady with charming tales of a far away land. He said poppet and moppet and made everyone laugh until potion came out their noses. The local lady thought a lifetime of laughing sounded rather fun and took the gnome up on his offer of forever.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Like every proper New England engagement Dan propsed in the living room, dressed in his Red Sox sweatshirt, moments before heading out the door for a Saturday night at the local bowling alley. Just like Candlepin, proposing isn't as easy as it looks.
