ALEXIS WALBURN & NOVEMBER 4, 2006 Newlyweds for 1113 days! WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED November 4, 2005 HOW IT HAPPENED Brent and I went to Hiwassee to visit his Aunt and Uncle who have a cabin on the lake. Brent used to go there a lot when he was a kid. So after visiting for a while, he showed me a cabin that was built by his uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. Then we went down to the lake on the boat dock. He explained how this was a very special place to him and that since it meant so much to him he wanted it to be special to me so he asked me to marry him. Then we went to Helen to celebrate. WHEN & WHERE November 4, 2006 Jonesboro, GA ABOUT THE BIG DAY We have both always wanted to get married in the fall outside with all of the leaves changing colors, so we are making it happen. The Shamrock building is on the lake with many trees surrounding it, so hopefully it will look beautiful. We also want our wedding to be fun. We don't want everything to be so serious so we are trying to incorporated some fun stuff into the reception so that everyone can kind of let go and have fun.
