HOW WE MET
Jeff and Melissa found each other on Match.com, and they met for the first time at a Starbucks in December, 2006.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Jeff proposed to Melissa on the promenade at the Brooklyn Bridge.
Before the proposal, Jeff, Melissa, and Jeff's mom had dinner at Grimaldi's, and then went for ice cream. Jeff's mom willingly stood inside the extremely hot ice cream parlor to get the dessert while Jeff and Melissa went outside to view the beautiful waterfall exhibit and NYC skyline. It was then that Jeff told Melissa how much he loves her and how she is everything to him except one thing... she's not his wife. Jeff got down on one knee and asked Melissa to marry him with a stunning engagement ring! Melissa of course said yes!
The rest of the evening was spent posing for pictures, calling and texting everyone they knew to share the good news, and Jeff explaining everything about finding the ring and setting up the proposal. As they were about to leave, fireworks started across the water! It was truly a magical evening! Melissa and Jeff can't wait to officially start their lives together in the summer of 2009.
