Newlyweds for 35 days!
ABOUT KELLY
I grew up in Lakewood, Ohio. I am the oldest of 5 kids. When I was about 3 or 4 my parents got divorce and my Mom married Larry Ellis who came with Tammy, Cherise, and Larry Ellis. My Mom already had Me, Sarah, and Michelle. My Mom and Larry had Maureen a couple of years later.
My Dad married Karen and together they had Josh and Dawn. I know this is confusing already, so to recap there are 9 of us all together. We are as normal as you can get for our situation. It took a while to get into our groove, but we have managed to become a very happy family.
I went to St. James grade school and St. Augustine High School for girls. Both of those schools are no longer in existence. I graduated from Kent State University in August, 2003. I have been working for the Cuyahoga County Probation Department since February, 2004. I work on Domestic Violence cases only. I love my job. I work with a lot of cool people and everyday is different from the next. I actually enjoy coming to work. Of course some days are more challenging than others.
That's my story in a nut shell.
ABOUT JOSEPH
Joe grew up in Lakewood, Ohio as well. He is the oldest of 3 boys. He has a brother named Jeff and a brother named Mike. Joe is also an Uncle. He has two nephews named Josh and Tyler, and he also has a niece named Abby. Tyler and Abby are twins.
Joe is a Bank Manager at Charter One Bank. He has worked there for about 8 years. He is also going to school at Tri-C.
HOW WE MET
Joe and I actually met when I was 16 and he was 18. He dated one of my best friends when I was in High School. We didn't start dating until my 4th year of college. We had always been friends, but nothing more until about 5 years ago. If you talk to Lucas this is cycle 3 for us as far as dating, and cylce 3 has lasted a little over 3 years.
Joe proposed to me the day before our 3 year anniversary.
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
We went to dinner at Three Birds for our anniversary. Our 3 year anniversary was on October 17, 2007, but because I had to work late that night we went to dinner the night before. When we came home from dinner he surprised me with candles and champaign. I was not expecting it at all. We had always talked about it and knew we were going to get married, but I really didn't expect a proposal until next year some time. To tell you the truth I am still shocked that it has happened.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
We want our wedding to be a fall theme. We like browns and oranges. I really don't know much more because there is still a lot of time before the big day. I have casually looked at dresses and different themes, but I haven't decided on anything.
