Lake Placid, NY
Mike and I decided to head down to Lake Placid to do some last minute Christmas shopping on December 20th. After hopping in and out of stores, I looked out over the snow covered lake and noticed dog sled rides going on. I wanted to get a closer look so Mike mentioned we go on down towards the lake to get a closer look. It was beautiful to look out over the snow covered mountains! In addition to the beautiful scenery it was snowing and Christmas carolers were around singing some festive tunes. I gave Mike a hug and in a cheesy way said.."Isn't this so romantic?"..In his reply he got down on one knee and said "Is there anything else that could make this more romantic?"...Then he presented me with a gorgeous ring..that I graciously accepted!
