ABOUT LISA
I am a Colorado native currently living in Denver. I received my undergraduate degree from DU and my teaching licensure from metro. I have been teaching for three years. Right now I teach third and fourth grade at Stargate Charter School, a gifted and talented school in Thornton. I love my students and they are so excited about the wedding! I have played the violin since the fourth grade and am a member of the Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra. In my spare time, after the wedding :) I want to start taking tap dance lessons!!!

I was born in Colorado, spent the first 18 years of my life there, spent the next 17 years on the west coast, but wisely moved back to Colorado in 2005, just in time to meet Lisa! HOW WE MET
jdate! Oh, how modern. We then had the world's most awkward first date at a Borders book store, ending with the world's most awkward hug.

HOW IT HAPPENED
We were listening to the broadway channel on XM radio, and they had an interview with Anthony Rapp, one of the original stars of the musical Rent, and we found out that he was back on Broadway along with another original star, Adam Pascal. Lisa loves Rent, so Michael flew her out to NY to see them live on Broadway. Oh, and he proposed at the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park while they were there.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
The ceremony will be at the BMH-BJ synagogue and the reception will be at the Pinnacle Club, which is on the 38th floor of the Grand Hyatt Downtown. Our guests will have a beautiful view of Denver from the three walls of windows in the reception room. We are getting married on the last night of Chanukkah. We hope to be lighting the large menorah at the synagogue during the ceremony and then have everybody light their own during the reception. While we are praying for no blizzards, it would be beautiful to have a little snow on the ground.
