LAURA HUBABRD & DANIEL HUBBARD AUGUST 23, 2008 Newlyweds for 455 days! ABOUT LAURA I'm 23 years old, just graduated from CMU with a BS in Psychology, and yes I am aware of the irony. Dan and I live in Connecituct where we are furthering our education. I am attending the University of Connecticut for a Phd is School Psychology. ABOUT DANIEL Dan turned 24 in January and will be attending Eastern Connecticut State University with a BA in Economics. I'm lucky enough to have found a great guy that helps/does most of the household chores hehe. He is an active guy who loves playing with his motorcycle and recently joined Eastern's rugby team. HOW WE MET We originally attended high school together but ran with different crowds, though we both were in the marching band and even had lockers next to each other one year. Little did he know i had a crush on him back then! After going to different colleges we started talking to each other over the social website facebook. Sparks started to fly and now wedding bells are going to ring! WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED May 3, 2007 HOW IT HAPPENED "I have an important announcement to make. When I thought about this day I got excited. I wanted to shout it from the top of a mountain, but i don't have a mountain. I have this picnic table and you guys. SO look people, I tell it like it is, and today's top story is: I Love Laura (Toby) Tackett" WHEN & WHERE August 23, 2008 Shelby Twp., MI ABOUT THE BIG DAY After quite a few emails and phone calls we signed a contract to have our wedding at Eisenhower HS. We are still hoping that the district will allow us to have it in their beautiful new theater but as of right now they are not renting the space.
