ABOUT SHAUNA
My name is Shauna Marie Reno and I am 24 years old. I graduated from Hudson High School in 2001, then spent four years at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where I majored in Early Childhood Education. Since graduating from OU, I have lived at home in Hudson with my family, and then in Washington D.C. for a year. We now are glad to be back in Ohio, where we are living in Andy's hometown of Dublin. I currently work as a client specialist for J. Crew at Polaris mall.
The most important thing in the world to me is family, as you can ask anyone! I am very close to my family. I have two amazing parents, Mike and Jean, who are the perfect role models for Andy and I. I have two little sisters, Megan (22) and Lauren (17) who are my best friends and mean the world to me! I also have a huge and loving family that I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by- grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. My friends like to tease me about being "related to half of northeastern ohio". I love to meet new people, but my best friends have basically remained the same since middle school. My dream in life has always been very simple: to marry the man that I love and create a happy, loving family and a beautiful home. It's starting to come true, and I couldn't be happier :)
ABOUT ANDY
Andrew Thomas Dutcher is almost 26 years old. He graduated from Dublin Coffman High School in 2000. He attended Ohio University from 2001-2005 and graduated with a degree in Political Science. He worked in DC on Capitol Hill as a press assistant in the Republican party for 1 1/2 years. He just started a new job as a commercial real estate agent with R.J. Boll Realty in Dublin, Ohio.
Andy's mom, Pam, lives in Florida and his dad, Brent and stepmom Pat live in Dublin. He has an older sister, Holly (28) an older brother Charlie (27) and a little sister, Andrea (24). He also has an adorable 4 year old neice named Bella, who is Andrea's daughter.
Andy is easygoing and always has a joke for every situation. To know him is to love him, in my opinion!
HOW WE MET
Andy and I met at Ohio University in 2003. We started off as casual friends who would run into eachother at the bars on Court Street while out with our friends. After one night out at the bars- we kissed on his back porch and I told him he was "the guy version of me." It still took awhile for us to start "officially" dating. On May 1st, 2004 he introduced me to a friends dad as "my girlfriend, Shauna" and the rest is history, I guess!
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
We were on vacation with my family in Marco Island, Florida. My family has been going every year since I was born. It's one of my favorite places in the world! Andy and I took a walk on the beach in the late afternoon. I was looking for seashells in the sand, and Andy called me over to pick up a sand dollar he had "found". When I picked it up, I saw "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" written on the back. He got down on his knee and asked me, and I said yes, then we kissed. He then gave me my ring- a beautiful vintage-looking asher cut square diamond with little diamonds all along the setting and on the band. He designed it himself and it is PERFECT! I teared up a little bit, but I also couldn't stop laughing! I was just so thrilled and surprised. When we got home my family had champagne waiting to toast. And Andy still had sand on his right knee :)
