ABOUT BETHANY
Born and raised in the great city of San Antonio. After graduating from high school, I headed up to Denton, TX to attend the University of North Texas on a swimming scholarship. I graduated from UNT in May of 2005 with a degree in Speech Language Pathology/Audiology and decided to venture out of the great state of Texas to attend graduate school in Springfield, MO at Missouri State University. I am currently in my last semester of my clinical doctorate in Audiology and will be headed back to Texas to complete a one year internship at Scott and Whtie Medical Center in Temple, TX. I will graduate in May 2009 and will start looking for a job in Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I would not be where I am now with all the love and support from my family, friends, and soon-to-be hubby!!!
ABOUT ERIC
I was Born in Chicago, Illinios and lived in Des Moines, Iowa till second grade. The Family, which includes my sisters Elissa ( my twin) and Kristen, moved to Dallas, Texas in 1979. I graduated from Lake Highlands Highschool in 1990 and off to college I went. My friends would say that I went to every college in the great state of Texas and that would be close to the truth. I was back at home with my dad during one of my semesters off and the opportunity to own a dry cleaners came to us. Like my dad, I am a entrepreneur at heart. As of today, I am still in the cleaning business and entering into another business with a good friend of mine. I would have to say that I am truly fortunate to have such a great family and close friends.
On July 27, 2007 my dad passed away from complications with esophageal cancer. I just wanted to say that he will be missed.
HOW WE MET
See if you can follow this... My sister started dating my brother-in-law, Devlon, in July of 2005. Eric and Devlon have known each other since they were little(fifth grade) and for some reason I had never really met Eric until after my sister and Devlon were about to get married. I was headed from Springfield for Christmas break and was stopping in Dallas to break up the drive to San Antonio. On my stay in Dallas, Devlon invited Eric over for dinner and I guess you could say that is the first time we talked and got to know each other. (Eric would say we met at Devlon's and sister's engagement party, but we only chatted a little bit and I thought nothing of it...hehe) After the dinner Eric began to ask about me and had mentioned to Devlon that he would like to get to know me better. Well, I was at first against the whole idea of dating someone older than me, but after thinking about it and talking with my sister and Devlon, I decided to give it a shot and agreed to go on a double date with my sister, brother-in-law and Eric. We had our first date Jan. 4th 2007 and as they say..."the rest is history".

HOW IT HAPPENED
My sister, Devlon and my nephew spent the night at my parents house on Christmas Eve so we could all be together Christmas Day. We all got up and were about to start opening presents when Devlon said we had to wait because he forgot some presents at their house. So we all sat around and waited til Devlon returned. When Devlon got back he handed me a gift that I knew Eric had up with him in Dallas, so I was totally confused on how it got here. Well, after asking many questions on how the gift was here, Eric came around the corner. I was in complete shock and still had no clue what was going on. Eric walked over to me and said that he was here on Christmas to make my wish come true. The week before Christmas I told Eric "All I wanted for Christmas is for you to be with me and my family." Eric than proceeded to go down on his knee. He said that he needed my help to make his wish come true. He asked me to marry him. And, of course I "YES!!!".
