Newlyweds for 203 days!
ABOUT ASHLEY
Ashley graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with her BA in Communications with minors in Philosophy and Marketing in April 2007. She currently works as an Associate Representative and Office Manager for Northwestern Mutual FInancial Network-The South FL Group. Ashley is an alumna member for Delta Delta Delta, Epsilon Alpha chapter and loves spending time with her family, friends, and Mike.
ABOUT MICHAEL
Mike graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with his BS in Business with a focus on Sports Management in December 2007. He recently wrapped up his job with Greg Norman Productions as ticket coordinator for their PGA golf tournament in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and is currently in the process of becoming licensed to sell insurance and financial products with Northwestern Mutual. He loves golfing, playing poker, food (lol), fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
HOW WE MET
We met through mutual friends and hit it off one night when we all went camping and we happened to be the only two singles out of the group. A couple days later we were at a mutual friend's house for dinner and I was in charge of cooking the pasta but accidentally dropped the noodles all over the floor--very embarrassing! Mike rushed over to help me clean everything up and I knew from that point on that he was a potential keeper (it's the little things!). About a week later Mike asked me on a date to Anthony's on the Gulf on Ft. Myers Beach and we've been together ever since! :)
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
Mike made us reservations to have dinner at Blue Water Bistro. He arranged ahead of time for our friend Krista to be our waitress and he gave her my ring the night before on New Year's Eve. After we ate, Krista brought out a plate decorated with origami napkins and flowers with my ring box in the middle. Mike then took my hand and asked me to marry him! :)
