Andrea and Manuel wed at the beautiful Studio 450 in a loft-like setting overlooking NYC. The reception was a simple and elegant black-tie affair.

Andrea wore a lace A-line Pronovias gown with a sheer neckline. She chose not to wear a veil, but wore flowers in her hair instead. Manuel wore a formal Armani suit accessorised with fun DNA strand cufflinks, very suitable for his scientist career path.
The cocktail hour took place on the top floor of Studio 450. While there were no specialty cocktails, there was plenty of champagne. A bossa nova band played during the cocktail hour.
Andrea and Manuel chose a combination of round and square tables for the reception as well as high and low centerpieces made up of bright, jewel-toned flower arrangements. The tablecloths were a mixture of a basic beige and a gold sequin.
The printed sign upon entering the venue read the couple's names and where the reception was to take place following the ceremony.
Seating arrangements were written on a large mirror that lives at Studio 450. This was a unique way of posting guest seats as opposed to separate escort cards
Andrea carried a bright and seasonal bouquet of mixed flowers including hydrangeas and roses in jewel tones like deep purples and pinks.
The ceremony took place on the lower level of Studio 450 in a large, brightly-lit space. The couple had a simple huppah with the chandelier hanging through it and guests sat on either side so that everyone could see. They opted out of aisle flowers or decorations and the space was very open and sunny.
The couple ordered invitations from minted.com using the Splendorous wedding suite. They had invitations printed in English, Spanish and German and invited guests to their boat ride rehearsal dinner, Spain reception and Switzerland reception as well as the New York City celebration.
